Start Location: Meet at the End of the Pavement on Wenas
The Plan: Meet at the end of the pavement of Wenas Road, ride gravel or mountain bikes over Manastash Ridge to the Palouse to Cascades Trail (PTC) and then ride to Iron Horse Inn B&B in South Cle Elum. Ride distance each way is 45 miles. Damon will be providing support so that means we do not have to carry our stuff. He will deliver our bags to the Inn. An alternative for those who would like to ride but may not have the fitness or be interested in the whole Enchilada, you could drive to the Inn and ride the PTC trail back towards Ellensburg and join us, or take the ride of your choice in the area and meet us at the Inn. Chef Matt at the Inn will prepare dinner for an additional fee, likely around $35.00. The menu will probably be salmon or bbq ribs. vege, salad, dessert,, but details are still being worked out.
Your Next Move: If you want to join the ride, call LeAnne at Iron Horse Inn, 509-964-8054 and reserve your room or caboose, mention that you are part of Donna's Chic ride to LeAnne. The Inn's online registration is not working at this time, so just call and make the arrangements. They are great about refunding your money if you decide to cancel. We do not have a block of rooms reserved for this so make your reservations before the rooms fill up with other guests. Then please message Donna at 509-949-6739 and let he know you you're going to participate.
